Academic Calendar

Admission is open to both boys ans girls in Class XI for both Science and Commerce Streams. Any student who has passed Class X or equivalent exams from any Board is admissable subject to slection test/screening.

  • Application for Admission must be made in the prescribed form
  • Any admission obtained by means of malpractice will be considered invalid and the student will be disqualified.

Rules and Regulations

  • Students should come to school neat and clean in proper school uniforms and always arrive in time i.e., not later than 9.45 am. No students are allowed to sit inside the classroom without uniform.
  • Students are required to maintain strictly at least 75% of the attendances in an academic session, failing which he/she is automatically barred form writing the session-end examination.
  • Only guardians can apply for leave on behalf of their wards with proof of reason.
  • Any students found indulged in bad habits, such as intoxicants, disturbing the academic atmosphere and other students in any manner will earn compulsory expulsion from the institution.
  • All the students should obey the school authority and instructions given from time to time.
  • Students should be in their respective classroom before the normal classes commencing
  • Every student irrespective of his/her social, place of birth, caste, creed, and religion should adopt brotherly and sisterly attitude towards their fellow mates.
  • Students must be maintained absolute silence in the class.
  • No student should misbehave with other students and staffs.
  • Students have to show proper respect to their teachers, politeness to their fellow friends and show courtesy.

Commerce Stream
Compulsory : English, Manipuri/Alternative English/Hindi

Co-Curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities are only integral to conventional education. Science exhibitions, Seminars, Debates, quiz –contests, Educational tours, Games and sports, etc. are major academic activities at SDJM.

Fees and Scholarships

Admission Fee for Class XI Science and Commerce :  Rs.8000 + Rs 200 (Registration)

Class XI – Facilities for Science only:

  1. Position holders HSLC: Free Admission, Tuition fees, Text Books, School Bag, School uniform, Free Coaching, Boarding Fee Free &Meritorious Scholarship for two years (3000-/ per month).
  2. 85% and above : Free Admission, Tuition fees, Text Books, School Bag, School uniform, Free Coaching, Boarding Fee Free & Meritorious Scholarship for two years ( 3000-/ per month).
  3. 80% and below 85%: Free Admission, Tuition fees, Text Books, School Bag, School uniform, Free Coaching, Boarding Fee Free  & Meritorious Scholarship for two years ( 2000-/ per month).
  4. 75% and below 80%: Free Admission, Tuition fees, Text Books & School Bag.
  5. Below 65%:  Half-Tuition fees, Text Books & School Bag.

Facilities

Library

The library is a treasure house of knowledge and a place of knowledge transfer. Our libraray have relevant connected subject books for reference for different streams. The library is managed by a sincere and dedicated librarian who is always ready to help .

Hostels

The academy has attached hostels for boys and girls where complete hygiene is maintained and nationed wardens keep vigil and look after student's personal and academic needs. Tutors are also available for personal interaction/discussuion on various terms and conditions.

Laboratories

We have well equipped lab facility for carrying out practical activities in the science subjects taught. It also makes it possible for teachers to conduct standard practical activities expected in their specialist subject at that level. The labs llow students to work individually, in pairs and in small groups.

Transport

The need for safe passage of each student to school and back hostel/home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel the school has its own fleet of outsourced school buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of the students.
